In 2010 I edited the director’s cut of Susanne Moss’s most recent video project, which screened at the Rastafari Studies Conference at the University of the West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica in August 2010.

This film, which is currently in editing for public release, features the wide variety of Rasta lifeways in nations around the globe, from Trinidad to Ghana, Brazil to Italy. Susanne, a professional photographer and specialist in Rasta culture, gathered photos taken from her extensive travels and used them to illustrate a narrative that teaches the viewer about the key beliefs of Rastas while showing the similarities and differences in the expression of those beliefs around the world.

This video by Susanne Moss has been shown at numerous music festivals around the world. I assisted Susanne in creating a story from the extensive Spanish-language interviews she recorded with Cuban Rastafarians. When we had developed a clear story arc, I edited her footage and prepared the final cut for DVD production.
